Polarizing Sarcasm

I didn’t care much - I haven’t watched the big game consistently for years.

But then She Who Must Be Obeyed started talking about the game a few days ago, and how she wanted to watch it. She wanted me to explain the rules of football and all sorts of details. I thought, hey, I can do that… it will be fun. And they’re streaming it online and showing all the commercials, too… so even though the living room isn’t really in any condition to sit in and watch, I can see it in the bedroom.

So today I went to the NBC website to see the stream, only to learn that they will only allow access from the U.S.A.

I was a bit aggravated because it seems insane to bother streaming something to the same people who can see it if they stick a wire on a coat hanger and hook it onto the back of their TV. So, I started looking for proxies or other feeds on Canadian sites and started devising ways I could hack things so I could watch the game on my computer.

And then I remembered.

I really don’t actually give a fuck.

I’ll be over there having a nap. Or maybe playing STO or Bastion or something…
